Aug. 10

Well today was Jeremy's birthday. He turned 27 and he's now worried about turning 30! :) We celebrated by going to lunch with his mom and sister. We went to Texas Roadhouse and had a good lunch. Then we helped Britni get packed. We moved her to college! She will be attending Sam Houston State University, Go Bearkats! Jeremy and I both graduated from Sam, I guess she's following in our footsteps. :) She got a scholarship in basketball but she will also be playing soccer. Her first soccer game is on Aug. 22 against Rice. We look forward to watching her play! We will miss you Brit but we'll see you soon!

Kooper Update

Kooper is growing up so fast. He is 7 months old now. He is crawling all over the place, getting into everything. In the past few days he's begun pulling himself up to a standing position. He likes to crawl over to the ottoman, pull himself up and try to get the remotes, the phone or whatever he can reach. He hasn't gotten any teeth yet, but I'm sure he will soon. It feels like he's been teething for months now so hopefully one will be popping out soon. I can't believe how much he's changed in the past few months! We try to enjoy every moment we can because the next thing we know he'll be walking. :)

Stylin'

Kooper is styling in his new Hawaiian shirt. I love taking pictures of my baby boy. We took a beach towel outside in the backyard and I took some pics. This is one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy it!

First Post

This is our first post to the Martin Family Blog. We are new to this so bare with us. We hope to keep everyone updated about the Martin Family happenings. Which I've come to realize will mostly be about Kooper but that's ok. I hope to upload some pictures soon so you all can see how he's growing and changing. We will talk to you all soon.
